Do I have to exercise when doing the program? You don’t HAVE to exercise, but you will get the absolute best results if you do. Beginners are encouraged to start with training 3 times a week, advanced trainers or athletes can be given specific programs on request, depending on their goals. Although there are some weight loss programs out there that tell you no exercise is necessary, we won’t insult your intelligence by claiming this. Of course you will get the best results and feel more energetic if you exercise. You know that already! It’s the right type of exercise, however, that will speed your progress. Training during the BioSignature program requires little, if any, traditional cardio. It is mostly centred on weight training. Tony is a qualified Poliquin Strength Coach and will guide you through any training that will assist with your progress. What about supplements? Does everyone need them? Everyone is individual, so therefore the supplement prescription is also tailored exactly to you and your needs. Initially you will be tested for some basic deficiencies like stomach acid levels and zinc status. These tests are at no extra charge. Depending on the results you may be prescribed some supplements. The supplements recommended for your hormonal profile will speed up the fat loss process by correcting the underlying imbalance. Most people end up using supplements of some kind as it means you will get the best results in the shortest period of time. How long is the program? How much time do the appointments take? The program is 12 weeks duration. During this time you are measured once per week. Initial consultations take a bit longer as we need to collect your full history, goals and relevant health info. This extra time also allows you ask any questions about the program. It usually lasts 1 hour and 15 mins. The following weekly measurements/updates last about 20 – 30 mins depending on any changes that need to be made. How long before I see results? We measure you every week because that is how fast you will see changes. The program may need to be modified slightly at each appointment depending on the changes in body fat folds and their ratios. You will be given feedback each week in terms of your skin fold measurements, body fat % and muscle mass. You will also notice improvements in energy levels, recovery from training and general well being in a relatively short period of time. Can my partner/friend do the program with me? Can we visit together? YES! We encourage friends and partners to visit together. Not only will it help you to stay motivated, you will also get a 10% discount on the program fees. You will both be measured and treated as individuals; it’s just more fun when you have someone there to share the experience! How much does it cost? The pricing is similar to a personal trainer’s fees. In fact, it probably works out a lot less as you are working in blocks of 12 weeks. The first visit $150 value is FREE ; you are under no obligation to commit to the program. We welcome you to come in and get your measurements done and find out a bit more about the program before you make your decision. A block of 12 appointments/weeks following the first consultation is $747.00 (excludes supplements).
